The CHIPS Trailer Could Easily Be Renamed Crotches: The Movie

Oh, You’re Raunchy. Got It.

We all knew this was coming with the success of the 21 Jump Street movies. Taking old cop shows that were terribly specific in plot and execution, and turning them on their head. Usually meaning turning up the adult content. It wasn’t a novel idea, there were Beverly Hillbillies and Brady Bunch movies and a slew of others taking different angles on their respective original properties. CHIPS, on the other hand, looks to be taking the exact same angle on their show as Jump Street. Your milage may vary.  Continue reading The CHIPS Trailer Could Easily Be Renamed Crotches: The Movie

Wonder Woman Really Doesn’t Care About Your Puny Bullets in New Trailer

Kicking Ass During The Great War

The really need to get this one right. That’s all I keep thinking about whenever news for DC’s Wonder Woman drops. This is the same studio that somehow botched what should have been one of the biggest home runs in superhero movie history. With a trainwreck for a lead in, Wonder Woman has some serious odds stacked against it. Luckily, this movie looks like it’s set to kick all kinds of ass.  Continue reading Wonder Woman Really Doesn’t Care About Your Puny Bullets in New Trailer

Vin Diesel Still Doesn’t Know What To Do With His Hands in New xXx: Return of Xander Cage Trailer

Time To Get xXxTreme (Again)

No one has simultaneously missed their time and completely capitalized on it quite like Vin Diesel. Poised to be the next big action star in the early aughts, he was quite the figure at the box office, but his franchises never quite took off as he planned. Well, his profile has seen something of an ironic resurgence, leading to some of his best work. So why not go back to the well with what was supposed to be be our generations James Bond, well, until we realized Matt Damon was really our Bond. xXx: Return of Xander Cage has Vin Diesel surrounded by action stars and situations he’s absolutely daring us not to find ridiculous.  Continue reading Vin Diesel Still Doesn’t Know What To Do With His Hands in New xXx: Return of Xander Cage Trailer

Red Dead Redemption 2 Teaser: It’s Real, and It’s Spectacular

I Used To Go Downtown!

Rockstar Games sure knows how to work this whole PR thing. They got us all salivating on Sunday with just a color-swap version of their own logo. The very next day, just a red background with a setting sun. Again, no names or real info of any kind. Then, we got a name, and two very important dates. Red Dead Redemption 2 and “Fall 2017” and “Thursday October 20th”. Well Thursday is here, and we get our first official look at the follow up to 2010’s masterpiece.  Continue reading Red Dead Redemption 2 Teaser: It’s Real, and It’s Spectacular

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Teaser for the Hottest Mixtape of the Summer

Hold Me Closer Tiny Dancer

Let the hype commence! And I don’t mean that in any way as a slight toward Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The original stood out as the first “risk” that Marvel took in their connected universe, aside from attempting one in the first place, and is now the go to response for people trying to denigrate what DC is doing with their cinematic universe. “Marvel made us care about a talking raccoon and a tree…”. So now our underdog story is a mainstream event, but judging by this new trailer, nothing has changed, and that’s just the way we like it.  Continue reading Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Teaser for the Hottest Mixtape of the Summer

Black Mirror Season 3 Trailer: What Does It All Mean?

No One Is This Happy

Would you like to ride, on a craptacular balloon? Of course you do, and Black Mirror is more than happy to oblige. The bleak, pseudo science, anthology series will have its first season as a Netflix series later this month, and in anticipation, the first (and likely last) trailer has been released. Is it more of the same, yes. But that’s a good thing.  Continue reading Black Mirror Season 3 Trailer: What Does It All Mean?

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN TELL NO TALES Teaser Is Heavy On The Javier

But Deficient On The Depp

I’d ask who wanted this movie, but the last Pirates of the Caribbean flick made just shy of a gazillion dollars, and of course warranted a sequel. One would have a pretty strong case in saying that the overall quality of the films have dropped with every sequel, and an increased focus on Captain Jack Sparrow and I couldn’t tell you anyone who actually liked the last one, On Stranger Tides, but here we are. Five years removed and another Pirates movie on the way.  Continue reading PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN TELL NO TALES Teaser Is Heavy On The Javier
