Wrasslin’ State of Mined: Sasha Banks Takes Back The Title, Roman Works His Way Into The Picture and Styles Sends a Message (11.30.16)

Bossin’ Up

A lot happened in the past two days of wrasslin’, so i’m pacing this on a scale of dopeness. And no, Sasha Banks merely winning the RAW Women’s Title, in and of itself, may not top the dopeness scale. Her bending Charlotte around that rail like a slap bracelet was hot fire. WWE spends so much time building to larger moments, specifically for PPV’s that this kind of outcome will always be a true shock. Doesn’t hurt that the match itself was probably one of their best ever.  Continue reading Wrasslin’ State of Mined: Sasha Banks Takes Back The Title, Roman Works His Way Into The Picture and Styles Sends a Message (11.30.16)

Wrasslin’ State of Mined: Cena Wants to be the Man, Rusev Ain’t Done With Roman, and CM Punks “Fight”(9.13.2016)

Okay, They May Want Some

It finally happened. The day we all knew would come. John “Hustle, Loyalty, Schmersmect” Cena has returned to claim what’s “his”; the WWE World Championship. I’m mostly okay with this. Cena, while polarizing, has deservedly gotten to where he is, so it wasn’t going to be long before he got back into the title picture, just a matter of who he’d be facing. Wrasslin’ State of Mined: Monday Night RAW Becomes the Time Traveling Asylum (05/16/2016)

War. War Never Changes

Each side thinks they’re right, and they’re willing to compromise just enough of who they are to get that across. In WWE, sometimes that means picking up furniture and beating the hell out of another guy with it, and that’s exactly what AJ Styles did on Monday. He’d had enough of Roman Reigns’ false sense moral superiority. I wrote a few weeks back that Reigns did have the high ground as his family never actually laid hands on Styles, while The Club was gooning around. It was time to finally take up arms against the Roman Empire, and boy did it feel good.

Wrasslin’ State of Mined: Ushering in a New Era of Monday Night RAW (May 9, 2016)

One More Time for the Cheap Seats

Hey! Did you guys know it’s a New Era for WWE? No, seriously. This isn’t your daddy’s wrasslin’. No, this is a new time, filled with endless possibilities, and personal disputes being settled in the ring. Yup, totally new. Okay, I may be laying it on a little thick, for what has actually be a solid stretch of Monday Night RAW these past few weeks, but they’re hell-bent on making sure we know that things done changed. I guess it helps that they’ve been for the better, so far.
