Netflix Offline Mode Activated
Imagine yourself, sitting in an airport gate. Waiting for your group to board the metal bird that will take you to visit your family in upstate New York. You’ve finally carved out the time to watch Jessica Jones and Kilgrave has slew of people under his control ready to attack Jess. Tense stuff. But now you’re boarding and the airline is charging coke prices for wi-fi, guess you have to wait a few hours…or do you? Netflix finally made the long rumored “offline mode” official today, with the announcement that select popular titles will be available to download directly to your tablet or smartphone. But Deficient On The Depp
I’d ask who wanted this movie, but the last Pirates of the Caribbean flick made just shy of a gazillion dollars, and of course warranted a sequel. One would have a pretty strong case in saying that the overall quality of the films have dropped with every sequel, and an increased focus on Captain Jack Sparrow and I couldn’t tell you anyone who actually liked the last one, On Stranger Tides, but here we are. Five years removed and another Pirates movie on the way. Continue reading PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN TELL NO TALES Teaser Is Heavy On The Javier
I’m Sure There Are Safer Places To Stand
Hey, angry fogie! Like it or not, your childhood will be pilfered for everything it’s worth in order to repackage, rebrand and reboot for movies and series nowadays. Now let’s ignore that most of the things that are being “rebooted” that you claim to be “ruining” your childhood, haven’t really gone anywhere. I’m looking at you angry TMNT fan that hasn’t watched the new series’ (which is pretty good btw) or equally disgruntled Power Ranger Dad that tapped out sometime around Zeo, when you noticed girls noticing you. The Power Rangers movie is set to drop March 2017, and the promotion machine should be kicking into gear soon, and just in time for NYCC, here are some new character posters that show off just a glimpse of the zords. Also, Why Is Deathstroke In This Movie???
According to The Wrap, Deathstroke is actually the main villain in The Batman, the Ben Affleck directed, standalone film. Which means the footage tweeted out could be a cameo appearance OR test footage for that upcoming film.
The promotion team over at Warner Bros. must have the motto “screw it, they gotta like something we show em” written on a wall somewhere. That’s the only way to explain how news has been rolled out for the upcoming Justice League film. The news this week, in the wee hours of the morning, current Batman star and producer of the film, Ben Affleck, tweeted out a video of what appears to be the villain, Deathstroke, on set and ready to fight. Yeah, This Is Not A Pleasant Memory
Man of Steel star Henry Cavill set the internet ablaze with an Instagram post teasing a new suit for Superman in the upcoming Justice League film. While costume changes are par for the course in superhero flicks, it was the stylistic choice that Cavill employed that shook many a comic fan to their very core. So Which Superman Will We Get
Warner Bros. has yet to get Superman right in my opinion. So far, in the three Superman films to release in the 21st century, we’ve gotten retread of the Donner films (Superman Returns), a more dour coming of age tale (Man of Steel) and arguably the most cynical of the recent comic book films with some of the Injustice and Dark Knight Returns stories thrown in (Batman v Superman). Now, via The Wrap, it has been made official that Warner and DC will give Supes another solo shot in what many thought was a dead (because he is) franchise. To that I ask, who will be staring back at us from the sky. Continue reading Looks Like There Will Be A Proper Man of Steel Sequel
